Jean (Springer) Kinderman, 72, of Buffalo, N.Y., died of natural causes Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012. A funeral Mass was held in Buffalo. Jean has been cremated. Graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery in Havre on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 10 a. m.
Jean was born to Glen and Beryl (Sapp) Springer on Feb. 2, 1940, in Havre. She married Ken Kinderman of Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls in 1961. At the end of his tour in the Air Force, they moved to Buffalo, where they raised their family.
Jean devoted herself to her husband and children in a selfless and loving way. She loved gardening, raising flowers and was a good cook and seamstress.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Rita and Frank Kinderman; and brother-in-law Herman Pruys Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Kinderman; her sons, Kenneth Kinderman and Glen (Kelly) Kinderman; daughter, Kim (Bob) Patterson; grandsons, Bobbie Patterson, James Patterson, Patrick Kinderman, Jeffrey Kinderman, Kyle Kinderman and Jacob Kinderman; and granddaughters, Chelsea Patterson, Gabrielle Kinderman and Addison Kinderman, all of Buffalo. She is the mother-in-law of Christine Kinderman.
She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce (Springer) Pruys and Crystal Springer of Havre; nieces, Carol (Pruys) Tenorio of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mary (Pruys) Wooldridge of Riverside, Calif. ; and great-nieces, Ashley Wooldridge, Brook Wooldridge and Carly Wooldridge.
