The last time the Havre High Ponies and Browning Indians met on the volleyball court, the Blue Ponies struggled, but still managed to come away with the win. Now when they meet for the second and final time, the Ponies are hoping for a much more convincing win.

t Thursday. This time meeting the Indians in Browning, the Ponies will look to get their second conference win on Saturday.
In their first meeting, the Ponies won by scores of 25-12, 25-12, and 25-23, not having a consistent outing. And not playing consistent against a team like the Indians can be dangerous. The Ponies found that out in game three when the Indians nearly stole a win away from HHS. Brooke Carlson, Shelsey St. Goddard, and Whitney Brendler will look to lead the the Indians again, as they look to capture their first conference win. Carlson had five kills and three aces in the last meeting, while St. Goddard had eight assists and one ace.
HHS is coming off of a loss to Choteau, but should come out in better shape on Saturday. Peyton Filius was sick and didn't play in the Choteau matchup, and she was missed. But with her back, the Ponies return to form, especially hitters like Sarah Armstrong, who thrives off of Filius' assists. Filius had 36 assists in the first meeting, while Armstrong had 18 kills. Armstrong should lead the Ponies to another win.
The Ponies will look to eliminate errors against the Indians as well. Errors and big runs kept the Indians in contention last time, and could prove to be dangerous if the Ponies aren't careful on the road.
Saturday the Ponies will take on the Browning Indians in Browning, looking for their second conference win of the season. The Blue Ponies return home for matches three Central A matches next weekend.
