News you can use
The 2012-2013 bowling season is now upon us. It seems like the summer was way too short (and very hot) as always. This writer received very good news after a trip to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. It seems like I don't have pulmonary fibrosis after all. It is a lung infection which will cure itself over a period of time. Very happy over that.
Scores have been very good for the first week of bowling. Brian Moore started it off on Sunday Nite Keglers with a 279, 268, and 189 for a 736 series. The following Sunday night Nick Turner had a 279, 299, and 195 for a 773 series. What is in store for this week: Brian Moore had 14 strikes in a row over 2 games (a Andy Varipappa 300 Game). Way to go Brian.

The John Willey Tournament is questionable as Littles Lanes had a water break and are closed right now. Let's hope they get everything dried out.
Annual Jamboree is in Missoula this year, Sept. 28-30. Registration forms are available at the desk. Just ask, must be in by Sept. 21. Havre has been asked to host this in a year or so. If anyone is interested in working to get this annual event here, please contact Ken.
