Havre Daily seeks volunteers to share debate opinions

We're all sick of hearing what pundits and talking heads on the news are paid to think about this election. What matters is what the voters think. That's where you come in.

The Havre Daily News is looking for local people to watch the presidential debates on Oct. 3 and 16, and the vice presidential debate on Oct. 11, and then talk about their thoughts on the candidates and their arguments.

We want to include your thoughts in coverage of the debate the next day.

We hope to highlight the thoughts of a cross-section of everyday Hi-Liners.

We are looking for people willing to share their thoughts with us on the debate, the candidates and the issues before us.

The easiest way to sign up would be to visit http://www.form.hiline.us. Enter your information and press submit.

You can also send an email to [email protected], with your name, age, phone number, occupation and political leanings.

Lastly, you can either call 265-6795 or visit our office at 119 2nd St. to let us know you are interested.

As we get closer to the nights of the debates, we will let you know if you've been selected to join us for a particular debate, with details on where and when to join us.

Help us highlight the issues that matter most to the Hi-Line and to Montanans, by sharing your voice this election season.
