Jack Kenneth Case
Jack Kenneth Case, 79, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at the Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes. At his request, cremation has taken place and services are planned for a later time. Memorials in Jack's honor may be made to a memorial of one's choice. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
Jack was born Dec. 14, 1932, in Crestline, Ohio, to William and Marjorie (Rhine) Case. He was raised and educated in Mansfield. He enlisted into the United States Air Force and served in Korea. He was honorably discharged in November 1955 in Canton, Ohio. He married Paulette Erickson in 1963 in Havre. The couple had been together for 49 years. Jack became disabled in 1977 due to brain aneurysms. The family moved to Havre in 1980 and had one daughter, Crystal.
Jack was limited to hobbies due to his disability, but the one thing he really loved to do was to fish especially with his daughter, Crystal. He also enjoyed playing scrabble with his wife Paulette.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Case; and sister-in-law, Sally K. Ramberg.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Paulette Case of Havre; his daughter, Crystal C. Case of Havre; his son, Alan Kenneth Horst of Great Falls; two grandsons, Evan J. Case of San Antonio, Texas, stationed at Lackland Airforce Base, and Mason M. Case of Havre; and one brother, William Hunter Case of Bellville, Ohio.
