Havre police investigate theft of guns from cars

Havre police say there have been a strongof burglaries involving the theft of guns from unlocked cars.

Police Chief Kirk Fitch said the department is "agressively conducting follow-up investigations to find the suspects and find the suspects and recover the guns."

Fitch asked the public to contact the department with any information about the crimes.

He advised people to keep their cars locked at all times — especially at night.

He said people should remove all valuables from their cards, especially firearms, if the car is not kept in a garage.
