As many of you know, Jim O'Hara, GOP candidate for governor, is from Fort Benton. He was featured on national news on Feb. 3. He was recognized by the national media because he is running an unconventional campaign. He has painted, constructed and placed in the ground large billboards of each county courthouse. A courthouse represents each of us as Montanans. This is where our individual records are held.
This shows Jim is not afraid of hard work and how much he cares about our wonderful state and the people who call Montana home.
On Feb. 3 many of us gathered at the Grand Union Hotel in Fort Benton to watch the broadcast and then hear Jim speak. A very enthusiastic group of people cheered him on. He has a vision for the state that can and will make a positive difference in our lives. Jim is a "real" person, free of political baggage and free of political machines. How refreshing!
Jim's straight-forward, hard-working approach to campaigning that can and will translate into helping our state grow stronger, fight over regulation with less government and interference into making sure our people and our land are protected.
Look to Jim for a better Montana and a brighter future for each of us. I encourage you to learn more about him. You can go to his website to learn more, http://www.oharagov.com.
With great admiration and enthusiasm.
