Thomas 'TJ' Staples
Thomas "TJ" Staples, 40, of Havre, passed away on Nov. 4, 2012, at his residence of a gunshot wound. Cremation has taken place, and graveside services will be held at 1 p. m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Highland Cemetery in Havre. A chili-feed/potluck to celebrate TJ's life will be held at the Tip-It Bar following the graveside service. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
TJ was born on Nov. 12, 1971, in Havre, to Jim Staples and Donna (Wetsit) Ahneman. He was raised in Havre, graduating from Havre High School. He moved to Helena for a while before returning to Havre, where he worked for the Hill County Road Department until his death. TJ enjoyed hunting and fishing. He lived for spending time with his family, especially his nephews and nieces, and he was known for his loving personality and big heart.
TJ was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Viola Staples and Donald Westsit, and his great-grandmother Alice Collins.
He is survived by his father, Jim Staples of Havre; his mother, Donna Ahnemen of Wolf Point; his step-mother, Roxana Mangold of Havre; his sisters, Paulette (Joray) Four Bear and Rhiannon Ahneman of Wolf Point; his brothers, Casey (Shannon) Staples of Havre, Trevor Staples of Beaufort, N.C., and Nick Ahneman of Wolf Point; his nieces and nephews, Bridger, Jocelyn and Alexis Staples of Havre, and Ethan, Audriana, and Gabriella Four Bear, and Dahmoniq Ahneman of Wolf Point; and his grandmother, Pauline Escarcega of Wiota.
