Edwin Laurence Green

Edwin Laurence Green, 94, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Northern Montana Care Center, due to natural causes. A graveside service will be held at 1 p. m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Highland Cemetery, with Ila McClenahan officiating.

Memorials in Edwin's name may be made to a charity of one's choice, in care of Jean Green, 700 Pike St., Havre, MT 59501.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

Edwin was born on June 7, 1917, to William and Bessie (Rickard) Green. He attended school in Havre. Edwin married Helen Dahl in 1959. He served his country during World War II in the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1945. Edwin owned and operated cleaning and laundry plants in several places. He enjoyed inventing things.

Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen; brothers, Leslie Green and Lionel Green; and sister, Vivian Anderson.

Edwin is survived by daughters, Terri Lee (Jim) Hall of Malta, N.Y., and Teri (Stephen) Goble of Yarmouth, Maine; several nieces and nephews; and five grandchildren.
