Stanley Johnson
Stanley P. Johnson, 75, former Liberty County assessor and farmer who served in the U. S. Air Force from 1957 to 1964, died at a Phoenix hospital from a heart condition on Sunday, March 4.
Vigil prayers will be 7 p. m. Sunday, March 11, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester. Funeral Mass will be 11 a. m. Monday at the church. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be given to Liberty County Ambulance or to the charity of donor's choice.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Johnson of Chester; three sons, Jack Wagner of Phoenix, Jennings Johnson of Kalispell, and Wade Johnson of Deer Lodge; a daughter, Denise Johnson of Wyoming; two grandchildren; two brothers, Duane Johnson of Joplin and Calvin Johnson of Missoula; and two sisters, Elva Elling of Rudyard and Elaine Kline of Nashua.
