Kelli Finley Aitken

Kelli Finley Aitken

On July 2, 2012, a golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Kelli Finley Aitken went to heaven when she passed away due to natural causes at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Wash., with her family by her side.

Kelli was born Nov. 20, 1962, in Havre, Mont., to Don and Pauline Finley. She worked as a dietary cook and later as a CNA at the Chester hospital.

She was a very compassionate person and could often be seen comforting her patients who were all alone in the Chester Nursing Home. She would spend holidays with them, and make them special treats. Kelli was an excellent cook and was well known for her love of spicy food. She loved her dogs and will be missed greatly by Spirit and Cosmo.

Kelli is survived by her parents, Don and Pauline Finley; her husband, Doug Aitken; stepson, Brandon Aitken; sister, Paula Lamey; brother-in-law, Kevin Lamey; niece, Alexa Lamey; nephew, Jace Lamey; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

At her request, no memorial service will be held, and her ashes will be spread in the Pacific Ocean, Hawaii, at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be sent in Kelli's name to the Montana Hope Project at http://www.montanahope.org or to an animal shelter of your choice.
