Gary A. Brownrigg, 59, of Cannon Beach, Ore., and Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, died Friday, July 20, 2012, in Cannon Beach.
He was born Nov. 16, 1952, in Puyallup, Wash., to Jesse and Dorothy (Bureau) Brownrigg. His parents preceded him in death.
He attended some college.
On Feb. 14, 2008, he married Zhan-Yi Chen in Taipei, Taiwan. She survives, residing in Cannon Beach and Kaohsiung City.
Brownrigg worked for Aidells Sausage Co. and was a maintenance worker for Cannon Beach Property Management. He also owned Gary's Hot Diggity Dogs and an adventure guide service/cultural exports business.
Family members said he loved music and photography.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Gracia Gabriel of Havre, Mont., and Lois Yelovich of Puyallup, Wash. ; a brother, Bob Brownrigg of Southbend, Wash. ; a cousin, Luther Brownrigg of Humptulips, Wash. ; and an uncle, Donald Brownrigg of Milwaukie.
No service is planned.
