Alex Ancen Sickafoose
Alex Ancen Sickafoose, 21, of Big Sandy, Mont., was born on June 5, 1991, in Mount Vernon, Wash., to Gerald and Bonita Sickafoose. He passed away on Oct. 3, 2012, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings, Mont., due to complications of an accidental shooting.
Alex grew up and attended school in Hayden, Idaho, and moved to Big Sandy in the summer of 2005. He graduated in May 2009. He continued his education at Montana State University-Northern in Havre.
Alex enjoyed living his life to the fullest, spending time with friends and family. Some of his favorite times were fishing with his dad and hunting with his grandparents in Eureka, Mont. He also loved riding his motorcycle (at excessive speeds), cliff jumping at Fresno and snowboarding. He had a huge heart for people and adored his nieces.
Alex is survived by his parents, Gerald (Brenda) Sickafoose of Hayden, Idaho, and Bonita (Ronald) Butler; his sisters, Mikki (Ryan Pansch) and Jennifer Sickafoose, all of Big Sandy, Mont. ; his brothers, Craig Atkins of Wyoming, Mike Butler and Nick (Tori) Butler of Kansas, Adam (Jessica) Butler of Fort Benton, Bear, Cole and Colby Crawford of Idaho; grandparents, Gerald and Vee Sickafoose of Eureka, many aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews, and and extended family. Alex had an extensive number of loving friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 4:20 p. m. at the Big Sandy Community Church of God in Big Sandy. This is a celebration of Alex's life, please dress according to his unique outlook on life.
