On Monday night of last week Shawn Mariani rolled his fourth 300-game at Hi Line Lanes. He finished with a 794 series then added a 236 for a 1,030 series for four games with an average of 257 for the night. He also has a 300 to his credit at the National Bowling Tournament.
TOURNEY TRAIL: After one weekend of play in the No-Tap Tournament, Dianne and Doug Watson are in first place with a score of 1,741, followed by Chuck Wimmer and Dianne Watson. In third place is Kyle Surber and Denise Friede.
There will be no bowling next week for the youth bowlers as the Dewey No-Tap will be held on Sunday March 11, starting at 1 p.m. with shifts at 2:30 and 4:00 to follow. People who want to bowl may sign up at the desk or call 265-5885 to reserve your spot.
Over the weekend Jacey and Jason McDonald traveled to Billings to bowl in the Quibica Family Tournament. Jacey recorded her first 500 series while Jason shot a 621 with 223, 177, 221. Mom Sharon said they were in third place with one shift left on Saturday, then shifts on Sunday. They have a very good chance of making it to the state finals.
