Ann Lambert-Kuhry
Ann Lambert-Kuhry, 93, died June 4. at Chester Hospital. Her memorial Mass will be 10 a. m. Saturday, June 9, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester. Graveside services with burial of ashes will be 1 p. m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery in Havre. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel, Chester.
Ann was born in Yugoslavia on Sept. 22, 1918. She came to the United States in 1927 and graduated from Red Lodge High School in 1936. She married Charles Lambert in 1947, and they had two daughters. They moved to Havre in the 1960's and operated the Stockman's Lounge and the "2-87 Diner. " Ann also worked as a clerk at Buttrey Foods. Charles died in 1977.
Ann married her second husband, Wilfred Kuhry, in 1983. They enjoyed traveling, dancing and walking. After Will's death in 2008, Ann moved to Wheat Country Estates in Chester. She enjoyed baking, reading and bowling.
She was preceded in death by her husbands and a daughter, Cheryl.
Survivors are a daughter, Linda Lambert of Metairie, La. ; a grandson, Delano Lambert-Clare; a granddaughter, Maddeson Lambert-Clare Garcia; three great-grandchildren; one brother, John Matovich of Billings; and a sister, Dolly McGraw of Virginia.
