I am so sorry to hear of Dick Bohn's passing. Over the years, I had many business dealings with Dick, and my respect for him increased with each one.
Dick was a class act … from start to finish. He was always a classy dresser, so personable and friendly, sharp-witted, highly motivated and trustworthy. In every situation, he was always the consummate professional. He was an "old school" businessman, who knew, and always upheld the value of a simple handshake.
He had a unique way of making each person feel special, and each deal seem possible. I always admired the fact that he would repeat my name during our conversations; he was engaged in what we were speaking about, listening intently and evaluating what the next opportunity might be. He was a brilliant man with an intrinsic knowledge of the real estate industry, which I truly believe is unsurpassed.
I am still shocked and saddened that no one will be there to answer extension 20.
Our Havre business community has lost a superstar, and that loss will no doubt remain palpable for a very long time.
My condolences and prayers go out to Karen and his family for the sudden passing of such an incredible man. Godspeed, Dick. You will be dearly missed.
