Tommy Ray Denny, 64, formerly of Rocky Boy, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012, in Chicago, of natural causes.
Tommy was born March 7, 1948, in Fort Belknap, Mont.,, to Walter Alex Denny and Nellie Peeper Anderson, and was raised in Rocky Boy. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps, and following his military service, he moved to Michigan and then to Illinois, where he settled in Chicago until his death. Tommy developed skills in the culinary arts and managed a restaurant in Chicago. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. He was loved by his family and will be missed by many.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Dolores Denny McDoogal and Ruby Denny; and his brothers, Matthew, John, and James Denny.
He is survived by his siblings, Alex (Deanna) Denny, Sheila (Bill) Denny-Kohlhepp, Eunice (Tom) Denny-Berger, Doreen Anderson, Bonnie Anderson and Wilma (Tim) Anderson-Rognstad; his aunt, Elizabeth Denny-Belgarde; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Rocky Boy Lutheran Church.
Interment will be in Rocky Boy Cemetery. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements
