Don Anderson

Donald L. Anderson, 74, a former Chester and Zurich area farmer, who served in the U. S. Air Force from 1958-63 and loved music and jazz festivals, died of lung cancer at Peace Hospice on Friday, March 2, 2012.

A graveside service will be 2 p. m. Saturday, March 10, at Chester Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester. Memorials may be given to the Great Falls Food Bank or Rescue Mission.

Survivors are his wife, Meredith (Swank) Anderson of Great Falls; three sons, Jeffrey Anderson of Omaha, Neb., Scott Anderson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Gregory Anderson of Missoula; five grandchildren; two brothers, Sanford Anderson of Joplin and Lowell Anderson of Lakewood, Wash. ; and three sisters, Bernice Lyle of Great Falls, Doris Waldron of Visalia, Calif., and Lois Rodgers of Shady Cove, Ore.
