Rheannon Marie Whetham

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Gorder Jensen Funeral Chapel in Choteau, Mont., for Rheannon Marie Whetham, 24, of Great Falls, Mont., who died Friday, June 29, at her home in Great Falls from accidental drowning. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home.

Rheannon was born May 5, 1988, in Great Falls, the daughter of John Whetham and Tammy Mathews. She was raised in the Choteau and Dupuyer area and was a CNA at The Rainbow in Great Falls. She was married by common law to Joshua Hegan, and he preceded her in death. She was married by common law to Scott Atkins.

Rheannon especially enjoyed raising her children, Joshua and Raylene, and family activities as well as her music. She also enjoyed swimming, camping and fishing, but her children were the main part of her life, and they brought her the happiest times of her life..

She is survived by her father, John Whetham of Big Sandy, Mont .; her mother: Tammy Mathews of Pendroy, Mont .; her common-law husband, Scott Atkins of Great Falls; children, Joshua Hagen and Raylene Atkins, both of Great Falls; two sisters, Nikki Whetham of Havre, Mont., and Cynimon Mathews of Augusta, Mont .; her maternal grandmother, Donna Hennesey of Augusta, Mont., and her paternal grandfather, Steve Johnson of Dupuyer, Mont.

Rheannon was preceded in death by her first husband, Joshua Hegan; a daughter, Arianna Hegan; her paternal grandmother, Laura Johnson; her maternal grandfather, Sonny Boy Carrier; and several aunts and uncles, including Tommy Fellers and Donald Mathews.

Memor-ials are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House in Seattle, Wash.
