Paul Kenneth Brown
Paul Kenneth Brown, 83, of Chandler, Ariz., went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 16, 2012.
Paul was born on April 10, 1928, to Reed and Florence Brown. He grew up in Havre and was educated in Havre schools. Upon graduating from high school in 1946, he joined the U. S. Navy, attending training schools and serving two years with Fleet Weather Central in Subic Bay, Philippines.
After discharge, he resumed his education and graduated from Denver University in 1952. He joined the FBI in November 1953 and served in the Dallas, Washington, D.C. and Phoenix field offices.
He retired from the FBI in 1978. He married his high school sweetheart, Edith English, in 1946, and they raised four daughters. Edith passed away in 1979. Paul obtained the certified financial planner designation and served in that capacity until 1988.
In 1990, he married Sharon McKee. Over the course of nine years, they were foster parents to 17 newborn babies.
A loving and wonderful husband, grandfather and great-grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Chery Sullivan (Tim), Mitzi Schenke (Bob), Paula Ballin (Jim), Aimee Nielsen (Erik), Tami Russo, Jay McKee, Juli Thiede (Jeff) ; his sister, Shirley Omlie (Don) ; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. His generosity, kindness and zest for life were endearing attributes. A celebration of his life was held Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at Scottsdale Bible Chapel.
