Helon M. Ervin, 92, died Jan. 30, 2012. She was the middle child of Kate and Hart Ervin. She came from a family of 13 children who were raised around Kremlin, Mont.
Helon lived in Edmonds, Wash., on 9th Avenue for 44 years. She worked for the Edmonds School District as a bus driver for 20 years. Helon belonged to Edmonds Church of God for the past 30 years where she made many friends and was always interested in the youth.
Helon is survived by one brother; two sisters; two daughters, Helon K. Rodgers and Janeen Anderson; five grandsons; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and six great- great-grandchildren.
Helon's son, Harlan De Ray, and great-grandson; Devon, preceded her in death.
There will be a celebration of life on April 15, at the Edmonds Church of God following the morning worship.
