A full room of constituents were disappointed at the weekly legislative video conference in the Robins School Administration Building in Havre Wednesday, as local legislators were unable to get away from sessions in time to attend the meeting.
The crowd of about 15 residents of Hill and Blaine counties waited until about 12:15 before beginning to disperse. Havre Public Schools Superintendent Andy Carlson told the people at the conference shortly before noon that he had received emails saying the legislators might not be able to make the conference.
The video conference, jointly sponsored by the Havre school districts and the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to be held again next Wednesday at noon at Robins School.
