After the second day of classes, with this year's unexpectedly large kindergarten class, the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees made a few personnel changes, including hiring a new teacher to handle the kindergarten surplus.
At a special board meeting on Tuesday evening, the board hired Ristina Wilting, a teacher who has previously spent one year teaching first grade at St. Jude Thaddeus School, according to Karla Wohlwend, the district's personnel director.
