Nina Louise St. Marks, 48, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Northern Montana Hospital, of an apparent heart attack. Her wake service will begin Thursday with a rosary at 7 p.m. Her funeral service 11 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2011, all at Rocky Boy Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rocky Boy Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
Nina Louise St. Marks
Nina was born Aug. 10, 1962, in Fort Belknap, Mont., to Hector and Lorraine (Briere) St. Marks. She was raised and educated in Rocky Boy and Box Elder. She obtained her GED in Pullman, Wash., and then attended a two-year school in New Mexico and obtained her welding certificate. Nina worked in the maintenance department at the Rocky Boy Schools for several years. She had one son,Travis.
Nina was a devoted mother and a hard worker who took pride in her accomplishments. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing, going fishing and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Lorraine St. Marks, her four brothers, Kenneth, Samual, Louie and Robert St. Marks.
Nina is survived by her son, Travis St. Marks of Great Falls, Mont .; her sisters, Anna Big Bow of Rocky Boy, Mont., and Patricia St. Marks of Seattle, Wash .; her brothers, Dennis (Wanda) St. Marks of Rocky Boy, Mont., Richard, Bill, Patrick and Alex St. Marks, all of Rocky Boy, Mont .; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many extended family members.
