The No. 19 MSU-Northern men's basketball team suffered a disappointing road loss at No. 23 Westminster College Saturday night in Salt Lake City. The Lights lost to the Griffins 55-44, but it was an 18-6 Westminster run at the start of the second half which did Northern in. The Lights and Griffins also combined to score just 31 points in the first half. Shanu Tatarka paced the Lights with 14 points. The loss dropped Northern to 4-3 in the Frontier Conference and 15-7 overall. The Lights also fell out of first place in the league standings. Northern returns home to face UGF this Saturday.
