Local Bowling Report: Junior-Adult league starting in January

Monday's will be the night for the Jr.-Adult No-Tap league. The starting date will be Monday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. and running until March 12. However, we need at least three more teams to make it a successful league. Call the lanes to sign up. There will be a drawing for a bowling ball (for a junior) when the league concludes.

There are still a few spots left for the New Year's Eve Jackpot. Those wanting to bowl should call as soon as possible.

TOURNEY TRAIL: The PBA will resume on Sun. Jan. 8th on ESPN at 11 a.m. MST time. The 23rd Annual Snowy Lanes Budweiser Tournament gets under way Jan. 21 and goes into February. More information may be obtained at the lanes.

Littles Lanes is having their annual 40/90 Double Classic and Over 40 Classic Singles Jan. 7th and 8th.

TIP OF THE WEEK: Develop a Spare Shooting System. There is a lot of systems out there (for example 3-6-9 or 2-4-6-. A system simply knowing where to stand, and where to target for any spare when leaving it. A spare shooting system has to make sense and a bowler should throw a straight ball which means a plastic ball. Talk to Ken and he will explain it fully to you.
