Social host ordinance is the right choice

Kids report that most of the time they get alcohol from "social" sources like older friends, friends' parents, etc.

We know sometimes they are getting it from retail businesses, too, but with compliance checks now, that should start to diminish.

Our youth deserve the community's support to do the right thing for their health and safety and if we can begin to eliminate social sources of alcohol, it will give another tool to show youth that their neighbors, parents friends want safe and healthy lives for them.

Keep up the good work, Havre City Council!
