John C. Schwarz
John C. Schwarz of Issaquah, Wash., and formerly of Great Falls, Mont., passed away at his home in Issaquah of natural causes on Jan. 17, 2011, at the age of 70.
John was born in New York City to Mary DuBois Schwarz and Frederick A.O. Schwarz.
John was the great-grandson of the founder of FAO Schwarz Toy Store. After graduating from Carleton College, he pursued his lifelong dream to move to Montana as a rancher. In later years, he worked in the organic food industry in Montana, St. Petersburg, Russia and Washington State.
He is survived by his son, Philip Schwarz of Houston, daughter, Sasha Price of Concord, Calif., and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
