Breaking Sports: Ponies sweep on the mat

The Havre High wrestling team picked up a pair of dual victories Friday night at the Havre High gymnasium. The Ponies topped Class B-C powers Forsyth and Conrad.

Havre beat Forsyth, the No. 1 team in Class B-C 45-30, but the Dogies forfeited five sports and won four matches on the mat. The Ponies dominated Conrad 72-9, losing just one match on the mat.

Havre wraps ups its regular season Saturday in Malta. The Ponies host the Central A Divisional next Saturday.
