Voting by mail is a great new experience. No matter what the weather, no long lines, no worry about parking, no trying to find your voter registration card, and you can comfortably take your time to study the ballot and cast your vote.
I'll admit some nostalgia for "the other way," everyone going to the polling place on the same day (except for absentee voters), interacting with the judges and poll watchers, as well as seeing friends and neighbors.
For those who haven't voted yet, or who are not registered to vote, please do so.
I would encourage a vote for Rick Dow for City Council in Ward 3.
Rick is by training, education, work experience, family involvement, and church commitment my choice for this position on City Council.
I believe he is eager to listen to his constituents and reflect their desires in his consideration of city issues.
I believe Rick will seek input from those in Ward 3 regarding city issues important to them,
Rick has been involved in researching such issues and has demonstrated the capacity to amalgamate this information with people's input to arrive at a fair and just way to solve old problems and address new problems.
