Wanda JoAnn Hopson

Wanda JoAnn Hopson, 75, of Murray, Ky., formerly of Benton, passed away at 12:30 a. m. Sept. 24, 2011, at Spring Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by daughters, Peggy Giblin of Havre, Mont., and Christine Bufkin of Murray, Ky. ; sons, William "Bill" Hopson and Charles Hopson, both of Havre, Mont. ; one brother, Nole Phelps of Las Vegas, Nev. ; nine grandchildren, Kelly Johnson, Maverick Hopson, Matthew Thorson, Michael Thorson, Lisa Bandy, Nicole Allen, Tosha Majchszak, Kayla Majchszak and Haley Majchszak; and four great-grandchildren, Katrina Hopson, Eternity Hopson, Alice Allen and Athena Bandy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Hopson; five brothers; three sisters; and parents, Clive Phelps and Elsie Swaringam Phelps.

Funeral services will be 3 p. m., Sept. 28, 2011, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory. The Rev. Kerry Lambert will officiate, and cremation will follow. Friends may call from 5 p. m. until 8 p. m., Sept. 27, 2011 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory.
