Even torrential rains and a soggy pitch can't slow the Hi-Line United soccer team down.
This past Saturday, the United won a pair of U19 boys home games, sweeping Lewistown and Polson at the Havre High soccer fields.
The first game was against Lewistown and the United won 2-1. Logan pike got the first goal on a penalty kick and Miguel Ley got the clinching goal on a corner kick with the assist from Ben Wiken. Taran Huestis had 2 saves and only 1 goal allowed. 10 other shots on goal were made .
In the second game against Polson, the United won 6-3. Pike had a monstrous scoring match for the United, scoring four goals and adding two assists. Wiken added another goal for the United, while assists were by Miguel Ley, Sam Lippy, and Kait McKnight. Huestis had five saves and three goals allowed. A total of 29 shots on goal that did not score.
The United are now 10-2 on the season and still in first place. They travel to Lewistow
