Investigators survey the scene of a school bus accident Friday near Devon. The bus carrying about 40 people returning from a church camp flipped on its side Friday on a rural highway in northern Montana, injuring several students, none of them seriously, authorities said.

A camp counselor says three people remain hospitalized after a school bus carrying about 40 people returning from a church camp flipped on its side on a rural highway in northern Montana.

Malachy Horning tells the Great Falls Tribune in a story published Sunday that the three have been transferred to Benefis Medical System and are doing very well, but two will require surgery.

Police say the bus was carrying students from a church study camp in Hungry Horse to Harlem when the accident occurred at 2:45 p.m. Friday on Highway 2 near Devon.

The bus had just left Glacier Bible Camp in Hungry Horse, an Assemblies of God-owned site that hosts the annual Indian Youth Camp for children from Montana's Indian reservations.
