The postseason is underway for Class B and C boys basketball teams. The Class A postseason is a week away and the Class AA's are busy sorting out seeding for the state tournament.
So this week will be the final Havre Daily News Super 15 Polls. It's been fun ranking teams and now it's time to start finding out who the best of the best really is in Montana. And by the second weekend in March, we'll know.
The final Super 15 girls poll has Bozeman sitting atop the standings, and six Class AA teams ranked in the top 10. Unbeaten Fairfield is the high non-AA team at No. 4, while Belt re-enters the poll at No. 15. Butte Central finished as the highest Class A team at No. 7 and No. 10 Winnett-Grass Range finished as the top Class C school.
On the boys side, Bozeman held the No. 1 spot for five of the six poll, while Columbia Falls finished at No. 2 and the highest-ranked Class A school. Wolf Point sits at No. 5 as the top Class B school and Roy-Winifred is the only Class C boys team which made the poll all season long.
