It was a good afternoon for the Havre High boys and girls basketball teams at the HHS gymnasium. The Pony boys grabbed their first win of the season, defeating the Belgrade Panthers 43-40 in a Central A showdown. Brandon Smith scored 16 points as HHS improved to 1-3 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Pony girls team earned their second straight Central A win, defeating the Panthers 50-48. HHS is now 2-2 on the season.
