Laine Fitzpatrick and Roman Surber bowling in the very first shift of the No-Tap Tournament held on to win with a score of 1,623. They were followed by Lois Olk and Dale Borger of Glasgow with a 1,608; third place Donna Borger and Paul Koski of Glasgow 1,604; fourth place Denise Friede and Kyle Surber 1,594; fifth place Laci LaBuda of Big Sandy and Gary Rettig of Fort Benton 1,589. There were a total of 60 entries from Havre, Big Sandy, Harlem and Glasgow with ten places to be paid. Hi Line Lanes thanks everyone who participated in the tournament.
Saturday, March 12 saw the fundraiser for youth baseball take place. The evening started out with indian tacos being served and a silent auction being held around 8 p.m. Sixty three energetic keglers took to the lanes for a night of Jackpot Bowling. It looked like everyone had a good time. Hi Line Lanes thanks Doug and Michelle Denny and crew for all their hard work in making this project a success.
Word has been received from the U.S.B.C. National Tournament in Reno that the Bill Henry Construction Team is in first place. We will keep you updated on this. There is nothing to report from the others that went.
This Sunday, March 20 will be the annual USBC Youth awards fun day beginning at 1 p.m. All youth bowlers are asked to be present.
