Maureen (Brandt) Cicon, 66, died from breast cancer on Sunday, at Liberty Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Saturday, May 21, at Chester Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Chester Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the church. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel of Chester.
Maureen was born July 1, 1944, in Havre, Mont., to Loren & Florence Brandt. She grew up in Rudyard and graduated from high school in 1962. She married James Cicon Jr. in 1963. They lived in Chester, where James was injured in an industrial accident and died in 1973.
Maureen began working for Liberty County in 1980, served as clerk and recorder from 1994 to 2006, and then retired.
She was active in her church, WABC, Red Hat Society, Weight Watchers and Bear's Den Home Extension Club. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, camping, bowling, cooking, gardening, walking and playing games/cards. She loved family events and get-togethers.
Survivors are daughter, Jodi Cicon of Great Falls; son, Kevin and Kimie Cicon of Augusta; six grandchildren; brother, Loren Brandt of Missoula; step-sister, Marlene Hanson of San Rafael, Calif. ; sister-in-law, Glenda Albee of Chester; and brother-in-law, Howard Cicon of Rollins.
