Brenda Garcia

RENTON, Wash. — Brenda Garcia, 49, passed away Aug. 7, 2011, after a long illness.

Brenda was born in Water Valley, Miss., Aug. 12, 1961, to Chester and Olivia (House) Savage.

Brenda married Zeke Garcia in 1981, and a son was born, Joshua Garcia. They later divorced.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her significant other, Kevin Kuhn; her son, Joshua Garcia; her sisters, Teresa (Harvey) Herrig and Judy Savage; her brothers, Tenson, Paul and Scott Savage; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Steven) Lewno; stepsons, Josh and John Kuhn; niece, Jadynn Herrig; granddaughters, Jocelynn and Natalie Lewno; and a grandson, Matthew, due in August.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church of the Nazarene.
