Dale F. Lewis

Dale F. Lewis, 82, formerly of Great Falls, Mont., died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at Emeritus Assisted Living, Woodbridge, Va., of natural causes.

She was a teacher in the Great Falls School System until she retired in 1982 and then became a well-known calligrapher in the Great Falls area. Mrs. Lewis was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by daughters, Cheri O'Connor of Woodbridge, Va., Kate Morris of Glendive, Mont., and Candice Mancuso of Slidell, La. ; daughter-in-law, Lea Ann Lewis of Great Falls; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Lewis; her son, Charles A. Lewis; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held at First United Methodist Church on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at 10 a. m. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Havre at 2 p. m. Schnider Funeral Home is handling local arrangements, and Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements in Woodbridge, Va.
