Bow Wow Boarding moving on
Editor:
Bow Wow Boarding is closing at the end of March.
I will miss all of you and your people. I will now have to start washing my face at night instead of relying on all the dog kisses. Great for the skin! I loved my so-called job. My job was to love your dogs while you were gone in your stressful times or joyful times.
I was excited for you for the joyful times and my heart hurt when you had to travel for sad times. But most of all, you trusted me with your dogs to be second mamma in command while you were gone. What an honor. I thank you for that.
I have so many fun stories from all the years of being able to walk, feed, kiss and hug your dogs.
I have been bit by some in the beginning only to have their tails wagging and happy to see me when they have come back.
I have been pooped on, tinkled on, and had my teeth, nose, ears, full face cleaned from smiling and hugging your dogs. I will not name names; you know who you are! Ha ha ha, loved every minute of it! Wouldn't change a thing.
I thank you for my strong legs and strong arms from all the walking that has kept me feeling better.
I thank you for my strong stomach muscles from making me laugh. I thank all the dogs that have given me some really good friends.
I may have never met you if it wasn't for your dogs. Give them kisses! My husband, DJ, thanks you for letting me borrow your dogs because if you didn't pick them back up, there would be no room in my house for him to sleep.
I thank you for letting me do my so-called job and being able to be home with my boys all the time so I didn't have to get a "real" job. I look forward to being with my family more on the holidays and not having to walk dogs before the kids wake up to find the Santa presents.
I am sorry to leave you so quickly. Please, no hate mail. This is a good thing for me. My arthritis is hurting, and I am tired. If I have good days, and you get a call from the crazy dog lady from Bow Wow Boarding asking to walk your dog, yes, I am still using your dog for the kisses!
Love to everyone.
