MSU-N spikers honored

The Frontier Conference volleyball season is over, but postseason accolades are still rolling in.

And those accolades include three MSU-Northern Skylights.

Northern seniors Jordan Merrill and Jenna Frankino were named NAIA Academic All-American's this past week. The due were two of 23 Frontier players selected for the honor, which says student-athletes must maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA.

Also last week, Northern senior middle-hitter Kaylee Bossert earned honrable mention all-region honors. Bossert, a four-year starter for Northern, finished her final season in the Top 10 in the league in kills, hitting percentage and blocks.
