VFW Post 497 would like to thank all participants in our drawing for the two Seahawks tickets to the game on Nov. 28 with the Kansas City Chiefs in Seattle.

First prize was the two tickets and $200 for expense money. Second prize was $100 cash and third prize was $20, which matched the cost of a drawing ticket.

The raffle was organized to assist the Post with some of the unpaid debt we still have after the closing of our long-established Post building.

First-place winner was Steve Brown. Second-place winner was Lena Lamphiere. And third place went to Jeff Currie.

Post 497 would like to recognize and send our very special thanks to Steve Brown and Jeff Currie. Both men contributed some or all of their winnings back to the Post. Steve gave us the tickets, so we can list them for sale online. Jeff donated his prize money back toward the debt as well.

Again, thank you very much to everyone who purchased a ticket.
