Peter James Cole

Peter James Cole, 55, died at his home of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place, and his memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at the St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church with Father Joe Diekhans officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the St. Jude Thaddeus Parish Center immediately after the services at graveside. Memorial contributions in Peter's honor may be made to the St. Jude Thaddeus School or St. Jude Thaddeus Church.

Peter was born June 19, 1955, in Havre, Mont., to William "Bill" and Dorothy (Griswold) Cole. He was raised and educated in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 1973. Peter worked in the oil fields and as a carman for Burlington Santa Fe Railway Co. He lived in Havre and then transferred to Cut Bank, Mont.

Peter enjoyed, friends and family. He was a Harley-Davidson owner and collected guns and coins.

He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Cole; and one sister Molly Puryer.

Peter is survived by his mother, Dorothy Cole of Havre, Mont .; brothers, Dan (Val) Cole of Bozeman, Mont., Dave (Patti) Cole of Anchorage, Alaska, and Paul (Jodi) Cole of Havre, Mont .; sisters, Blanche (Pat) Kellam of Chinook, Mont., Mary (Butch) Biskupiak of Helena, Mont., Betsy Riggleman of St. Francis, Minn., Marcia (Leonard) Wendland of Rudyard, Mont., and Bonnie Brady of Great Falls, Mont .; numerous nieces and nephews; and his good friend Newt.
