A spring league is forming to run eight weeks. It will be a three person team that will bowl two game of 9 pin no tap, play two games of pool, and one game of darts at a cost of $10 per week per person. The rules are posted at Hi-Line Lanes or call 265-5885 for more information. Any junior bowler going to state may go out and bowl free up until that time. Balls and shoes may also be checked out to go but must be returned to the lanes after your trip to the tourney. Hi-Lines Lanes will be sponsoring teams for the annual Putt-Putt Arpil 10th. Give them a call for more information. Kids bowl free when accompanied by adults. Kids 12 and under may bowl free when accompanied by their parents who must also bowl. There is a limit of three games per day and bowling shoes must be worn at a cost of $1.50 per pair. This applies to business hours only, no later than 8 p.m. on any given day, and does not apply to any other special and cannot be used with other specials. Hi-Line Lanes offers a "Family Bowling Package" for $40. A family of four is entitled to bowl three lines of bowling each, enjoy four medium sodas, and four hot dogs or one pizza. Get your ticket punched nine times and your tenth visit is free. Havre Youth held their awards day Sunday at Hi-Line Lanes. Thanks to Pizza Hut, Arctic Circle, Dairy Queen, Taco Johns, and Yummy Yogurt for all the donations to make it an even better day. Michale Beck adds one Sunday and Nancy Mahns on Tuesday. Nancy Salapich picked a 2-4-10; Bill Dougherty 6-7 and 3-7-10; Bob Blazer 6-7- 10; Lisa Morrell 6-7-9-10; Dianne Watson 4-5; and Michale Beck a 5-7 and 4-7-9-10. Dana Seidel had the high game of 252 and Christy Holden the series of 572 with a 200. Dana had a 552 with games of 204 and 211. Dana may have started the night off slow but shot a 667 her back three games. Christy also had a 508; Lainie Fitzpatrick 200, 509; Norma Mariani and Maxine Munson 502s; Nancy Salapich 514; Becky Blake 200; Chris Drew 215, 525; and Michale Beck 207, 506. Jacob Anderson's 266 in his 625 was high game and a 693 with a 247 by Kelly Olson was the series. Kelly also had a 613, 256, 663. Shawn Mariani hit a 244, 627, 602; Mike Hamilton 257, 630; Ken Riska 246; Kyle Surber 257; Don Jones 604; and Chris Pappas 610. Kelly's 839 was the high four game. Don Jones had an 800; Shawn Mariani 813; Jacob Anderson 818; and Ron Turner a 799.
