Wayne A. Koski

Wayne A. Koski, 66, of Cedar Falls, I owa , d i e d Monday, July 26, 2010, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.

He was born March 16, 1944, in Negaunee, Mich., the son of Andrew E. and Aili F. (Saari) Koski. He married Kathi Evans on Sept. 5, 1981, in Craig, Colo.

Mr. Koski served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam era. He was employed as a surveyor with Claassen Engineering and Surveying in Waterloo, Iowa, retiring in 2005.

He was a member of the American Legion in Marysville, Kan., the Waterloo VFW and the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post

Survivors include his wife, Kathi; his father, Andrew Koski of Michigan; a brother, Paul (Karen) Koski of Republic, Mich.; a sister, Andrea (Stan) Smith of Kingsford, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Hannah Wixtrom of Ishpeming, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Ron Koski.

Services will be held at a later date in Republic, Mich.

Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls is assisting the family.
