Jaron Lane Stump

Jaron Lane Stump, 18, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Benefis East Campus. His cause of death has not yet been determined.

His wake service was Friday at 4 p.m. with his funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church with Dean Doney and Duane Piapot officiating.

Burial will be at the Rocky Boy Cemetery.

Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.

Jaron was born Oct. 18, 1991, to Andrea Piapot in Havre, Mont. He attended school in Rocky Boy. He was enrolled in Stone Child College for the fall semester and was studying to obtain his GED.

Jaron's interests were in music. He enjoyed listening to it and composing his own. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews and his friends.

He liked to draw and especially liked to make people laugh. He was a character. He had a very special bond with his mother, and they shared a close relationship together.

He was preceded in death by Jerod Piapot and Dora and Irving Flying.

Jaron is survived by his mother, Andrea (Darrell Whiteman Sr.) Piapot of Rocky Boy, Mont .; his siblings, Christie Stump, Jon Stump, Blair Stump and Holly (Trevor) Oats, all of Rocky Boy, Mont .; his maternal grandparents, Algie and Margaret Piapot and Bessie Chandler and Valerie "Penny" Denny all of Rocky Boy, Mont .; nieces and nephews, Jerial Stump, Deon Stump, Russell Weaving Jr., Maryann Weaving, Marquise Oats and Alianah Oats.
