EARL BOUCHER obituary

Earl "Tony" Hector Boucher, 82, loved to travel. He left on his final journey to join family, friends and loved ones Monday morning, March 22, 2010, at his daughter Judy's home. Cremation has taken place, and his memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel wi th I l a McClenahan officiating. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the Eagle's immediately after the service. Memorial contributions in Tony's honor may be made to Bear Paw Hospice, 30 W. 13th St., Havre, MT 59501. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Hol land & Bonine Funeral Home. Tony was born Dec. 15, 1928, in Havre, to He c to r and Ar t i e (Maze) Boucher. He was raised and educated in Havre. In his younger days, Tony was quite a cowboy. He frequently shared his experiences of roundups and stories of riding his favorite horses, Midnight and Tarzan. He married Lillian Armstrong on Jan. 8, 1949, at Havre. Together they made their home in Havre and raised their family. The couple later divorced and remained close friends. Tony was a compassionate person. He loved his family and worked hard to provide for them. He had a g r e a t s e n s e o f humor and looked forward to hearing a good joke. He was preceded in death by his parents; his younger brother, Little Don Boucher; his son, Ron Boucher, in 1995; his grandson, Jim Allison, Lillian Boucher Kaleva; his sister, Hazel Henderson; and two brothers, Floyd and Herb Dedman. Tony is survived by his children, Toni Ann Gordon of Whitefish, Mont., Larry Boucher of Portland, Ore., Judy (Greg) Bostic and Russell (Pamela) Boucher all of Havre, Mont., Avis Montalbetti of The Dalles, Ore., and Misty Irwin of Missouri; one sister, Norma (Gary) Teske of Havre, Mont.; 25 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
