Emma Elizabeth Kulbeck

Emma Elizabeth (Buchholz) Kulbeck, 95, a Big Sandy area teacher and farmwife, who was very active in her church and the Big Sandy Senior Citizens Center, and was a dedicated fan of the Big Sandy High School basketball teams, died of natural causes at the Big Sandy Medical Center on Friday.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Christ Lutheran Church in Big Sandy. Following burial of ashes in the Big Sandy Cemetery, a reception will be held at the senior center.

Cremation and arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester.

Survivors are two daughters, Marcia Kaste of Great Falls and Lois Sostarich of Green Valley, Ariz.; two sons, Marshall and Glen Kulbeck, both of Big Sandy; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband,
