Brittney Ann Fugelseth, 23, of Havre, died Saturday evening, Aug. 14, 2010, upon taking her own life after a long struggle with bipolar disease.

She was born Aug. 11, 1987, in San Francisco, to Harold Anderson and Valarie Fugelseth. She attended school in Washington and came to Havre in the late 1990s to be with her father. She graduated from Havre High School and attended college.

Brittney was employed at the Tech Center of the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line, where she helped children realize their full potential. She truly loved "her kids." She also loved reading and shopping with her friends. Britt's father will miss her smile and her love of life. Her brother, Shaun, will miss her quirky sense of humor and attitude.

Brittney is survived by her father, Harold Anderson, and brother Shaun Anderson, both of Havre; her mother, Valarie Fugelseth of Washington; her sister, Caleaha Fugelseth of Helena; as well as numerous extended Anderson and Fugelseth family members.

Memorials may be made in Brittney's name to the Tech Center of the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line, 500 1st Ave., Havre, MT 59501-3904.

Private family services will take place at a later date.
