Benjamin Jeremy "BJ" DeCora, 28, died Sunday, March 21, 2010, at his residence in Rocky Boy, Mont. The cause of death has not yet been determined. His wake service will began Wednesday with his funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, all at the Old Stone Child College Gymnasium. Burial will follow at the Russette Family Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. BJ was born May 10, 1981, in Havre, Mont., to Roger and Nita (Russette) DeCora. He was raised and educated in Rocky Boy. BJ worked at the Ski Bowl and Rocky Boy Clinic and as a clerk in a CPA office. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing machines, horse racing and especially playing bingo with his grandmother, Alice. BJ enjoyed spending time with his family, nieces, nephews and grandparents. BJ was preceded in death by his grandpa, Benjamin; Uncle Ben; sister, Athena Galbavy and brother, Westy Spang. BJ is survived by his parents, Roger and Nita DeCora; his brothers, Otis, Julio-Wyatt, Lance (Jen) and Troy; his children, Ashley, Kayden and Jonnie Sue; his grandparents, Ted and Alice Russette and Anna DeCora of Winnebago, Neb .; special nieces, nephews, cousins, Quincy (Shaggy Witch), Ellis (erdy), Brennan (Nosey Big Ears), Chublet, Colton, Tierra, Bob and Flip; his aunts, Mona (Steve) Galbavy, Denise Crow, Ursula (Maynard) and Kathy Stensgar of Grand Coulee Dam, Wash., uncles, Teddy (Carol) Russete, Chubby (Mary) Russette and Gibby Russette (Travelin' and gambling partner), Dugan, Tom and Kuna DeCora of Winnebago, Neb. BJ is also survived by his brothers, Jonas, Macon, Jess Crow, Jason Meyers, Jacob Spang, Blue and Spencer Russette, all of Rocky Boy, Mont., Giblets and Trevor Russette of Albuquerque, N.M .; his sisters, Tif Galbavy, Tom and Munch Crow, Denette Houle, Lita, FeeFee, Shalee, Shina, Sasha and Crystal Russette, all of Rocky Boy, Mont., Gevy Russette of Crow Agency, Savanna Russette of Dulce, N.M .; his lifelong friends, Richard Henderson and Roland Meyers; his relatives, John and Wesley Merrill and Joe Saddler; his gambling partner, Ron "Delavega" "old Geezer" Swan. BJ is also survived by the families and realtives of Russettes, DeCoras, Meyers, Collins, Swans, Bergers, Weaselboys, Standing Rocks, Windy Boys, Stumps, McDowell, Sunchild and other family members and lifelong friends of Rocky Boy.
